When out for coffee, take a moment to ask for the Wi-Fi password. Stay connected and stay alert. This is a chance to indulge—but don’t overindulge to the point that you’ll make poor decisions. And it’s never a good idea—no matter where you are—to flaunt jewelry or cash, to get involved in illegal activities, or to be out alone late at night in an unfamiliar setting.
