Los Cabos is infamous for its sensational party scene. Médano Beach is where the action begins. At restaurants, such as Baja Cantina Beach Grill and the Mango Deck, you’ll find all-day meals and beach parties. If you can’t make the beach party, don’t worry. Festivities carry on into the night with music and ambience conducive to everyone’s good time. Baja Cantina Beach Grill keeps the party going until 11 pm with live Mexican music and fabulous folklorico shows featuring spectacular dancers and extravagant fireworks. Don’t forget to dig into the new and exciting menus while you’re there. For those of you dying to the catch the latest game, Baja Cantina has a second location, Baja Cantina Dockside on the Cabo San Lucas marina, where broadcasts of all major sporting events are shown. Both Baja Cantina locations definitely know how to entertain their guests and keep them coming back for more.

Long-standing venues such as the inexhaustible, ever popular Los Cabo icon, Cabo Wabo Cantina, are home to some of the wildest nights in Cabo San Lucas. Cabo Wabo Cantina may be considered the center of Cabo’s nightlife scene. It’s easy to find: You can’t miss its oversized sign visible from the street in downtown. Created by Sammy Hagar of the rock group Van Halen, its casual and inviting style attracts people of all ages. It is the perfect hot spot to throw back some drinks while listening to popular jams playing full blast throughout the venue. Cabo Wabo offers several dining areas as well as comfortable lounge seating for those wanting to enjoy some drinks with friends. Although, many find it difficult to carry a conversation once the hard-hitting rock & roll bands start their live performances. The spacious dance floor is always full of people ready to move to the beats. And like most clubs in Cabo, there is no cover charge or drink minimum. You can enter through their nightclub entrance on Vicente Guerrero between Lazaro Cardenas and Madero or use entrance off Marina Boulvard in Plaza de los Mariachis. The restaurant stays open until 11 pm, but the club keeps rocking until 2 am.
El Squid Roe and The Giggling Marlin Bar & Grille are other main attractions in downtown Cabo San Lucas. They are two of the premier destinations for partygoers and spring breakers wanting to take their nights to the next level. El Squid Roe’s two story party palace is always filled with an energetic and uninhibited crowd. The music is turned all the way up, vibrating throughout the club. Whistles are blowing everywhere while revelers down their Jell-O shooters and tequila shots. These are “must-go” places for the younger crowd, although the hearty have also been known to frequent these hot spots.
Zoo Bar and Dance Club is the perfect place to get your “wild on.” It features modern rock, hip-hop, and electronic mixes by resident and guest DJs. The crowd follows their animal instincts as the music pulsates through the air. There are two-for-one drink specials all night, and Thursdays is Ladies’ Night from 10 pm to 2 am. You can usually find a well-dressed crowd on the prowl until closing at 4 am.

While the traditional clubs have always been a big hit in Cabo, there are some newer venues that promise to be just as exciting. ME by Meliá Nikki Beach at is known by day for its well-groomed crowd lounging by the pool tanning their perfectly sculpted bodies, and then ME’s ultra chic The Passion Club takes over at night. Incredible DJs spinning the latest jams combined with a large dance floor, elegant décor, and a cozy outdoors fire pit make for a super sexy atmosphere that no one can find resistible. Ask the host about reserving you own private table in the VIP section where you can order your favorite champagne, or a variety of liquors by the bottle for cocktails to be shared among your group.
The Sky Bar at DG Lounge offers an “intellectual” nightlife. It is situated above the Sunset da Mona Lisa Restaurant at Misiones del Cabo. This is the ideal place to romance your date as contemporary music wafts in the background. Enjoy the sensational view of city lights and the Cabo San Lucas Bay, while sipping on a fine tequila and enjoying some delectable tapas. Every Sunday, DG Lounge offers a two-for-one “Sangria Madrilena” special. Consider this beautiful setting the perfect upscale spot for your private parties and special events.
RED Wine Bar is the new two-story chic Asian themed restaurant that at night turns into San Jose’s hottest club. Listen to hypnotic mixes of electronic, pop, and 80s music, while relaxing under the stars on the stylish outdoor lounge seating. The bar is always chock-a-block with an attractive, youthful crowd. The party lasts until 12 am during the week and 4 am on the weekends. Come by Wednesdays and enjoy 50% off on all bottles. Thursdays are always busy with Ladies’ Night running until 11 p.m.
No matter what you’re up for, Los Cabos is guaranteed to have it. This place is always full of life with a club scene that caters to every style. And to borrow from what another famous party town also claims, “What happens in Cabo, stays in Cabo!”
