A more rugged thrill-seeker should go for the Outdoor Adventure, set over the canyons at the foot of the Boca de la Sierra Biosphere Reserve. Combining zip line courses, a Tarzan swing, rope ladders, bridges and rappel lines, this eco-tour is nothing short of exhilarating! If cruising around the desert in a yellow, military-like Mercedes Unimog sounds intriguing, opt for the 4X4 Desert Safari. After a brief tour of Cabo´s downtown plaza, you’ll explore the desert with a professional guide on the way to a typical Mexican ranch where a local family provides homemade lunch and samples of their tequila. Cabo Karting Center will have your motor running with their state-of-the-art racing karts. Here is world-class go-kart racing, where you participate in 14 lap races at speeds up to 40 mph, flying just inches off the ground. The professional track is loaded with thrilling straight-aways, hairpin turns and high-speed passing zones. Race with family, friends, other drivers, or against your best lap times.
The Honda GX390 powered American-built Stratos performance race karts require no shifting, and the 4-wheel hydraulic disc brakes stop you on a peso. Racers from ages 5 to 99 can compete (minimum 4 foot height). Take a few practice laps to get the feel for the track layout, then, let it rip when the green flag goes down.
After the race head for the clubhouse for some delicious charcoal grilled burgers, cold beverages, and to watch the excitement of others taking their turns competing for fame and glory. The clubhouse features an inside air-conditioned snack lounge and additional palapa covered dining area overlooking the racing action. Internet and a conference room are available for parties and corporate groups. The track is located just outside Cabo at Km. 4 on the Tourist Corridor. Open 7 days 10am-11pm. One of the most exciting activities you can do while visiting Cabo, is to drive Wide Open Adventure’s Baja Challenge Race Cars on their 2.2-mile desert track. The Off Road Lapping Facility is only 15 minutes outside town. Need more adrenalin? Drive one of these pro race machines on a single or multi-day off-road expedition.
Wide Open Adventure’s desert off-road driving course is full of enough bumps, jumps, S-turns, banked curves, and roaring straight-aways to challenge even the veteran race drivers. You’ll scream along off-road at up to 60 mph on a course rough enough to tear an ordinary SUV to pieces. But these high-tech desert machines love every minute of it.
Prior to your race you’ll view an instructional video full of pointers like how to downshift prior to entering a curve, letting off on the gas before becoming airborne, and more.

If anything can be called serenely exciting it’s the Cabo Submarine tour. Partnered with Cabo Expeditions, Cabo Submarine’s journey begins topside from where you’ll view the marina, homes of celebrities high atop the mountains of Pedregal, Lover’s Beach, the famous Cabo Stone Arch and Sea Lion Colony as you depart the marina.
The 60 foot long, 50-passenger vessel is semi-submersible. It never dives or leaves the surface. Once in Cabo San Lucas bay’s marina preserve, you’ll descend a stairwell to a well-appointed viewing salon with 34 TV monitor sized viewing windows and seats running the length of the boat. With fish ID cards supplied by the boat, you’ll view and identify literally 1000’s of colorful tropical fish including King Angel fish, Yellowtail, Needlefish, Puffers, Damselfish, Parrot, Triggerfish, and more. Sea turtles, octopus, Manta Rays, jellyfish and the occasional shark have been known to appear. Sea lions often look through the windows and seem to be as interested in us as we are of them.
You’ll cruise along with the sounds of the Beatles "We All Live In A Yellow Submarine," Jimmy Buffet and Bob Marley. This fun semi-submersible sub also charters for weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events. Both day and night excursions are offered.
