Los Cabos Rotary Club Announces Fundraiser

The Los Cabos Rotary Club recently announced some important points about their organization in a press conference held in San Lucas. The nonprofit group mentioned their work to help children in the Southern Baja region with cleft lips and left palate. Cleft lips and palates are a congenital deformity caused by abnormal facial development that occur or are formed during pregnancy before birth. Approximately one in 700 children born have a cleft lip or a cleft palate or both. There will be many different age categories for the race. The Rotary Club is anticipating at least 300 participating bicycle riders. Registration costs for adults is $350 pesos and $250 for children. The ride will be supervised and accompanied by both municipal law enforcement and federal police, as well as Los Cabos medical teams. The first 200 to cross the finish line will receive commemorative medals
