Tequila Museum and La Cantina
Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Mexico
Located on the Golden Zone malecon (walkway) under the Marina Fiesta Hotel next to Los Deseos Restaurant you may notice people taking pictures of each other sitting on benches alongside sculptures of people garbed in colorful colonial attire.
Men sit next to the pretty lady in the long Mother Hubbard dress while the women – in the arms of the hombre wearing the big sombrero. Inside are photo blow-ups of ancient Tequila factories, a Tequila press, distilling equipment, more exhibits large and small and the most important thing of all – a Tequila Cantina.
Step inside to learn how agave is planted, harvested, and transformed into tequila, then bottled. You can also discover the difference between light and dark tequila. Naturally there are samples to be tasted during the learning process.
Let the spirit of Mexico enhance your visit to Cabo. Feel a unique Mexican cantina atmosphere. Have fun watching the waiters or waitreses dress like cups, doctors, devils, and more and enjoy your Tequila or any drink at the Cantina outside on the patio overlooking Cabo’s Marina or inside in our comfy chairs.
