b3 Mexican Bistro – Los Cabos Magazine #36

Owner Paul Muñoz’s B3 Mexican Bistro Restaurant is one of the newest spots in Cabo San Lucas, and this vibrant yellow eatery is an almost-hidden gem just waiting to be discovered. It offers visitors an array of delightful lunch and dinner entrées that begin at as little as $4 U.S. Complete large-portion dinner selections cost a mere $10 U.S. Most of these delectable concoctions originated in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca, a region that has until now been woefully under-represented in the Los Cabos dining scene. As of press time, the B3 Mexican Bistro had only been in the “make you happy at dinner time” business for a handful of months. Tasty starters include scrumptious sopes of shredded beef and frijoles (beans), chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and a creamy tortilla soup. A must-try dinner plate is the chicken mole selection. Muñoz’s full bar creates rum martinis made of horchata, along with a purple-colored jamaica version, that are tasty and intoxicating. B3 Mexican Bistro’s dessert menu features the popular Mexican dessert flan as well as traditional cinnamon-dusted churros to fall head over heels for. Intersection of 20 de Noviembre and Marquez de Leon streets, Cabo San Lucas (624) 109-1481. Daily 1 p.m.–10:30 p.m. MasterCard and Visa accepted. $–$$ F.R
