Located on the north side of the Cabo San Lucas Marina, Agua Saladahas been open for only two years. It’s nevertheless already quite popular with locals and tourists alike. The air-conditioned restaurant and bar was designed to give Los Cabos a different, affordably priced spot featuring sports entertainment, delicious food, and a unique variety of alcoholic beverages. The menu features a kaleidoscope of dishes that include Jalisco-style barbecue tacos, jumbo burritos, hand-formed thick and juicy hamburgers, original recipe Mexican ceviche, hot wings, pastas with seafood or chicken, pizzas, and Agua Salada’s signature sushi—prepared inside the trendy establishment’s bright cherry red Volkswagen bus. The location offers a nice, panoramic view of the harbor. The immaculate, roomy, dining and drinking establishment offers a Tuesday night $20 M.X. drink special. The hospitality extends from the bilingual manager on-site, to Agua Salada’s hostesses, servers, and bartenders. Agua Salada also serves Oaxaca-style mezcal, which is not easily available in the region. F.R.
