The La Ricazon family of restaurants is expanding throughout Los Cabos, and Frank’s Place is one of the best additions. The menu features traditional Mexican favorites like tacos, quesadillas, and chiles rellenos as well as some of the best seafood, steaks, and salads in Los Cabos. The Eggplant Tojo is a delectable appetizer layered with shrimp, scallops, caramelized onions, sweet mizo and wasabi aioli. The chicken fajita salad and half-pound burgers lead the list of lunchtime favorites. Try the black pepper–crusted fillet, spicy cashew chicken, and fresh fish of the day—all accompanied with sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and fresh asparagus. The most popular dish is the famous La Ricazon Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas, made with imports from New Mexico’s famous green chili fields. For dessert we suggest the choco-flan, a decadently delicious combination of flan, and chocolate cake drizzled with Baileys Irish Cream. Tropical cocktail options such as margaritas and mojitos brighten up the beverage list, and live music adds to the festive atmosphere. The restaurant is also a favored haunt of sports fans, showcasing all the latest games and events on high-definition televisions. Located next to the old Hard Rock Cafe location and Starbucks. Boulevard Lazaro Cardenas, Cabo San Lucas, (624) 143-3355. Daily noon–4 a.m. MasterCard and Visa accepted. $-$$ C.S.
