Few, if any, stories can compete with the romance of Shakespeare’s tale of star-crossed lovers. Chef Matias Forte’s masterful Italian restaurant was named for the pair, and it, too, stands out for its incredible romance. The indoor dining room is a nice air-conditioned retreat during summer months, but the twinkling patio is undeniably charming. So, too, is the singing head waiter, whose team is known for dramatic presentations—order the Caesar salad to start and the Mexican coffee to finish; both are made tableside. Enjoy a candlelit dinner of rich carbonara—or any of the 16 pasta options—garlicky mussels in white wine sauce, and gelato. You’ll feel absolutely transported, especially when you pair your meal with a selection from the extensive wine list.
