Captain Tony’s – LCM 48 Fall 2017

Captain Tony’s

opt for a traditional chilaquiles breakfast at Captain Tony’s on the marina.

Chances are you’ve heard of Captain Tony’s, a favorite destination for locals and visitors on the Cabo San Lucas Marina. It’s known for its pizzas, as well as early morning breakfasts (fishermen often pop in before a day on the water). Captain Tony’s is also where those anglers return to have their catches prepared. On certain evenings, you can come by to hear a four-piece band playing some of the best live music in town. What you may not know is that this is also a wonderful spot to come for fresh seafood, authentic Mexican fare, juicy burgers, and pasta. Starters include baked mushrooms stuffed with ricotta and Parmesan, dynamite shrimp, popcorn shrimp, nachos, barbecued ribs, guacamole prepared at the table, ceviche, tuna tostadas, sashimi, and curricanes made with crab and avocado. Still hungry? Go for the whole red snapper or any of the chef’s specials (we love the coconut shrimp or Captain Tony’s shrimp stuffed with crab). Cabo San Lucas Marina (behind Tesoro Los Cabos Resort), (624) 143-6797, www.piscesgroupcabo.com. Daily 6 a.m.–10 p.m. All major credit cards and vouchers accepted. $–$$$ S.A.B.
