Sunset Mona Lisa

Named one of the world’s most romantic restaurants, Sunset Mona Lisa impresses on all levels. The Mediterranean menu shines, especially against the dramatic backdrop of a Technicolor sunset over the Cabo San Lucas Bay and arch at Land’s End. You’ll be blown away by outstanding food, service, and ambience. Burrata cheese oozes when cut; here the ball is wrapped with a bow and served with pesto and tomatoes, a great start for what is yet to come. Another starter is raw beef fillet shavings drizzled with olive oil and served with arugula and shaved Parmesan, perhaps followed by organic arugula salad with pears, cranberries, and honey Champagne vinaigrette. Specials may include chocolate clams, softshell crab skewers, or a five-tuna platter. Pastas and risotto might be paired with white clams, gnocchi with diced salmon, or ravioli stuffed with lamb. Seafood includes roasted salmon, local sea bass, or octopus braised with mushrooms. A unique dining experience can be had with beef fillet or pork chops cooked tableside on hot lava rock. Desserts are not to be missed, no matter how indulgent your dinner. Try the “Almost Cappuccino,” a chocolate-formed coffee cup filled with coffee ice cream, milk foam, and crunchy cocoa. If a fan of the famous Three Tenors from the ’90s, visit on a night when the trio Divo performs live. Valet parking.
