This unique hideaway is suggestive of an intimate living room, with its plush leather sofas and an eclectic array of dining tables. Owner and host Robert Turnage takes pride in every detail, ensuring his dining guests receive the attention necessary for a relaxing or romantic dinner. The atmosphere is charming, and dining escapades include outstanding food, a nice selection of wines, and stellar service. Menu selections include pasta, seafood, and, as promised on TripAdvisor, great steaks. On this particular night, we dined on chef Rafael Villegas’s pasta del mar with pappardelle pasta, truffle cream, shrimp, bay scallops, and fresh Parmesan. The surf and turf includes a petite filet mignon coupled with lobster tail, chili-garlic shrimp, basmati rice, and garlic mashed potatoes. Wine tastings and tours of the winery take place with a light lunch Mon.–Sat 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Live music Wed.–Sat., as well as the occasional special treat as on our visit with a light jazz combo.
